Primary Duties and Responsibilities
In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures the incumbent is responsible for teaching the subject of specialization to vocational (Plumbing & Hearing) trainees and in particular:
· Organizes and develops the subject of specialization.
· Co‑ordinates the teaching of the subject with subjects taught by other instructors.
· Ensures the proper implementation of the subject syllabus and the evaluation of its effectiveness under the direction of the supervisors concerned.
· Maintains records and control of different supplies of the section and for the care and proper utilization of the facilities and equipment.
· Participates in co‑curricular activities in the Centre and in different summer courses when required.
· Participates with other staff members in maintaining order and discipline in the Centre.
· Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘A’ GRADE 11
A) Academic and Professional
· Successful completion of full Secondary Education, plus two years post secondary Technical Course in an area directly related to the trade to be taught.
· Two years in-service training course.
B) Experience
· At least six years’ experience including two years’ work experience in the trade, or in a related technical function and two years teaching experience.
C) Language
Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
2. TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘B’ GRADE 10
A) Academic and Professional
· Successful completion of full Secondary Education., plus two years post secondary Technical Course in an area directly related to the trade to be taught
B) Experience
· At least three years’ experience of satisfactory service as an instructor ‘C’ in the trade to the taught, plus one year work experience in the trade, or in a related technical function.
C) Language
· Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
3. TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘C’ GRADE 09
A) Academic and Professional
· Successful completion of full Secondary Education.

(a) A university degree in an approved course of study with major specialization in the field of subject taught plus successful completion of a special professional teacher in-service training course of at least one year duration OR
(b) Advanced university degree in a subject relevant to his/her field of specialization or in education or psychology OR
(c) A university degree requiring at least five years of study with major specialization in the field of subject taught.
The staff member is subject to termination from the Agency’s service after three years from E.O.D if s/he fails to produce an evidence of having completed a training course of one year duration, qualifying him/her for Technical Instructor "A”.

Under the supervision of Head, of Donor Relations and Project Support Office, the Associate Donor Relations and Projects Support Officer contributes to Agency fund-raising activities, managing donor relations and project administration including preparing proposals, liaising with relevant UNRWA programmes and departments, initiating projects and preparing project reports
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
In accordance with the established Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent will undertake the following:
● Donor Relations:
- Participate as necessary in meetings with representatives of donor countries and organizations;
- Prepare briefing documents for the Field Director, senior management and Donor meetings as requested;
- Provide a consistently high level of service to local donor representatives and their officials in capitals, liaising with relevant UNRWA Headquarter departments;
- Assist in developing and implementing the Agency and Field resource mobilization strategies.
● Resource Mobilization:
- Prepare project proposals and reports; as required, work on assigned project/s independently and coordinate with relevant staff in projects team;
- Formulate high-quality and responsive project proposals, concept papers, and project reports in coordination with respective field departments;
- Ensure that Project Cycle Management (PCM) principles are incorporated into the formulation and implementation of all projects.
● Projects Administration:
- Monitor the implementation of projects in coordination with Programme Support Office and field departments and verify adherence to donor requirements.
● Capacity Building:
- Assist in building the capacity of field department staff to develop proposals and prepare reports; assist with the writing, editing, formatting, and proof reading of proposals and report documents.
Minimum Qualifications
● Advance degree from an accredited educational institution in International Relations, Political Science, Development or Humanitarian Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences or other related field;
● At least three years’ experience in international cooperation project management in the context of donor governments or international non–governmental organizations, including at least 1 year of international experience outside one’s home country;
● Excellent command of written and spoken English.
