- Provide outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions.

- Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention.
- Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
- Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
- Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients, through daily visits, consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments in collaboration with other doctors and informing their family about the patient’s evolution.
- Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards.
- Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patient’s illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.
- Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care.
- Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensures professional confidentiality is respected.
- Strictly respect specific ICP measures.
- Treat COVID-19 according to current protocols (MSF/MOH/WHO), including HDU and palliative care.

2-Specialized Medical Doctor - Internal Medicine ( Zaatari Camp)
الوصف الوظيفي
- Ensure that quality treatment for the enrolled NCD patients are in accordance with MSF/MoH/WHO protocols by providing direct medical consultation with the patients and supporting other colleague MDs through technical advice and supervision.
- The specialist MD is a sparring partner of expat MD in the facility assisting in the provision of technical support and supervision in order to make sure that medical treatment provided to the patients is up to the required standards.
- Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.

3-Data Entry Operator - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- Enter medical data (e.g. patient data, dates of visit, content of prescription, viral load, etc.) in mission’s database on a regular basis and according to MSF protocols.
- Participate in compilation of data both from MSF structures and from collaborating health facilities.
- Participate in the search for missing data.
- Update files of existing patients and make any corrections needed.
- Make regular back-ups of all data processed.
- Look after all equipment provided and keep recording area clean and tidy, giving special importance to all patient files.
- Report any issue concerning data management to superior
- Elaborate statistical reports when required by the medical team.
- Ensure, promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered.

4-Pharmacy Technician - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- Supporting the drug supply management in the designated facilities under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager of the project and according to MSF health policies and protocols, in order to contribute in the guarantee of the proper management and distribution of drugs and medical devices.
- In cooperation with the Pharmacy Manager, assisting in the supervision, management and control of the medical stock in the project in order to avoid ruptures, losses and gross overstock of drugs and other supplies and overseeing and monitoring its storage condition.
- Assisting on a monthly basis with preparation and approval of order requests, ensuring they are completed in timely manner to prevent unnecessary orders in between.
- Following up on drug ruptures.
- Assisting Pharmacy Supervisor in preparing prescriptions and dispensing of medications of patient’s on a daily basis.
- Assist Pharmacy Supervisor in dispensing the drugs according to prescription, explanation to the patient about drug dosage, time of taking the drugs, adverse effects.
- Ensure up to date knowledge of MSF guidelines.
- Control access to the pharmacy premises and ensure that all doors are secured.Report any disappearance or sign of break-in without delay.

5-Nurse Aide / مساعد ممرض - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- Assisting in the nursing activities with hospitalised patients, according to nurses and doctors prescription, universal hygiene standards and MSF protocols, standards and procedures in order to ensure the delivery of quality medical care for patients.
- Assisting the nurse in organizing and providing care and treatments to patients, respecting at all times, the rules of hygiene, safety, comfort, dignity, medical secret and patient confidentiality.
- Giving response to nurse’s requirements in case of an emergency.
- Participating in the surveillance and monitoring of the patient and reporting to the nurse any relevant information.
- Compensating patients’ possible lack of autonomy by assisting and helping them in feeding, personal hygiene, movements and general comfort.

6-Nurse - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- Providing nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients, according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population.
- Knowing, promoting, implementing and following up the universal hygiene standards/ precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, security rules and other protocols and procedures in the medical premises and ensuring high standards of hygiene of his/her working environment.
- Respecting medical secrets and confidentiality at all times.
- Organizing and carrying out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions, and assisting during consultations, daily rounds and other medical procedures.

7-Community Health Worker - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- The Community mobilizer and CHW will provide information and health education messages at the community level, and will strengthen the link between the community and the MSF health structures.
- Collect and report (to IEC/HP Supervisor) specific information related to his/her community: percep-tion of the sickness, food security, vaccination status of children, perception of the services, cons-traints and strengths, vulnerability, level of information, living conditions and risks related.
- Deliver information to his/her community on specific health topics and about MSF, the services it provides.
- Consolidate the link between his/her community and the MSF services; give advise how to better in-volve his/her community in the activities of awareness and prevention; indicate possible local actors or local NGOs and community project which could be involved in awareness activities at a local level.
- Support the mapping of the territory and population: schools, churches, villages, gathering points; support and facilitate relations with local authorities of his/her community, where requested by the IEC/HP Supervisor; support MSF in the defaulter tracing activities.
- Provide health education in the community on Covid-19 topics, especially hygiene practices and social distancing.
- Follow-up visits to patients who are in self-isolation.

8-Nursing Team Supervisor - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- Carry out and/or supervise the (decentralized) pharmacy and medical equipment management (drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions,inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and their destruction, drugs consumption, etc.)in his or her department, in order to satisfy the needs of material with efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensuring that all staff using medical devices are qualified and trained.
- Ensuring that cleaning and minor maintenance tasks are performed according to the protocols.
- Reporting any malfunction to the project biomedical service list item.
- Updates monthly roaster in accordance with local policies.
- Ensure safety and hygienic working conditions for the staff (know procedures in the case of accidental blood exposure).
- Ensure triage of patients in waiting areas, detecting the priority acute/emergency cases, carrying out first aid care when needed and referring to the doctor.
- Plan department workflow and determines priorities.
- Observe nursing care (check that nursing care is carried out as directed, treatment administered in accordance with physician's instructions)and provide direct care as needed.
- Monitor the use of diagnostic services to ensure effective use of resources.
- Supervises the regular maintenance of the clinics.
- Regularly audit and ensure the maintenance of and adherence to infection control standards within the clinics.

9-Water & Sanitation Supervisor (WATSAN) - Zaatari Project
الوصف الوظيفي
- Supporting the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (Watsan) Manager in the implementation and supervision of Watsan activities, including tools and materials employed according to MSF standards and protocols, in order to improve health and living conditions of the target population.
- Ensuring the day-to-day implementation and administration of assigned Watsan activities at project level, including but not limited to, water supply, excreta disposal, waste management, vector control, and dead bodies management.
- Ensuring that the MSF procedures and protocols are followed by the Watsan teams to guarantee the operational quality of the project.
- Ensuring the maintenance and repair of technical equipment in the project to guarantee an adequate running of Watsan activities.
- Ensuring the distribution of the materials and tools used in water treatment, hygiene and sanitation (e.g. physical organization and inventory of stocks, receiving and processing orders for water, sanitation and hygiene material, check that the amounts received are recorded, and check monthly consumptions, etc.)
- Supporting the Watsan Manager in ensuring an appropriate emergency preparedness and response capacity (physical verification of stocks, contacts, transport means, staff training).
- Ensuring appropriate assistance to the project response team and if required, participating in emergency activities or exploratory visits.
- Supporting the Watsan Manager in the team planning (e.g. staff rosters and admin, HR processes, etc.) and informing and involving the Watsan Manager in case of any major management or technical issue, and providing all required reporting.
